Position Overview:

Sedgewood Commons is seeking a reliable and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join their team on a part-time contract basis. The LPN will play a key role in supporting residents, administering nursing care, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment within a long-term care setting.

Responsibilities:

Provide direct nursing care in accordance with facility policies and state regulations.
Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely.
Monitor resident conditions and report changes to supervising RN or provider.
Document all care provided in a timely and accurate manner.
Support daily activities and collaborate effectively with staff and interdisciplinary team members.

Requirements:

Active LPN license in the state of Maine.
Must present a state or federal-issued ID upon arrival and wear a photo badge at all times.
Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or provide documented medical or religious exemption from employer (additional doses required if mandated).
Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred.
