Job Description

Global Service Resources is looking for an experienced Licensed Psychiatric Tech in Tehachapi, CA!Job title: Licensed Psychiatric TechLocation: Tehachapi, CA 93561Schedule: 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM (Wednesday to Sunday)Payrate: $54-$55/hourRequirements:
  • Must have at least 12 months of relevant experience (excluding internship) within the last 3 years.*
  • Hold a valid California Psychiatric Technician license.*
  • Must be proficient in English, both written and verbal.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide basic psychiatric and behavioral care to mentally or developmentally disabled patients.*
  • Conduct clinical rounds and monitor for signs of mental illness.*
  • Administer medications and treatments, take vital signs, and perform other nursing tasks under RN or MD supervision.*
  • Participate in treatment planning as part of a multidisciplinary team.*
  • Assist with and lead group therapy sessions.*
  • Act as a liaison with custody staff in patient management.*
  • Observe and report patient condition and behavior changes.*
  • Schedule and coordinate clinical appointments.*
  • Respond to emergencies with CPR and first aid.*
  • Maintain accurate documentation per CDCR/CCHCS standards.*
  • Help maintain a safe and therapeutic environment
