Kimel Psychological Services (KPS) is a woman- and minority-owned group psychology practice specializing in psychological evaluations and therapy for children, adolescents, and adults with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, learning differences, giftedness, twice-exceptional profiles, mood disorders, medical complexity, and other neurodevelopmental concerns.
Our comprehensive evaluations assess cognitive and intellectual abilities, developmental disabilities, autism, academic achievement, attention and executive functioning, emotional and behavioral functioning, neurological concerns, fetal substance exposure, and rare medical or genetic conditions.
We serve individuals from age 1 through adulthood and are committed to providing culturally responsive, neurodiversity-affirming, evidence-based care. KPS accepts Medicaid, Medicare, and private pay, and offers bilingual (Spanish-English) therapy and evaluation services to increase access for diverse communities.

What You’ll DoClinical Work
- Provide individual, family, and group therapy to children, adolescents, and young adults based on your clinical expertise and areas of interest
Supervision & Mentorship
- Supervise Ph.D. and Psy.D. graduate-level trainees and other clinicians through individual and small-group supervision
- Co-lead specialty groups, including social skills, Sibshops, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Anxiety Treatment groups
- Help lead monthly therapy didactic trainings for the clinic
Collaboration & Growth
- Participate in weekly clinical consultation and professional development with colleagues
- Collaborate with clients’ care teams, including school personnel and other professionals
- Promote awareness of developmental disabilities through community outreach, trainings, and advocacy
- Work in a highly desirable, professional office setting in a premier area of town (Denver Tech Center/Greenwood Village)

Who We’re Looking For
- Current Colorado license to practice as a psychologist (Ph.D. or Psy.D.)
- Clinical expertise working with autistic individuals and clients with developmental disabilities, ADHD, learning differences, giftedness, and co-occurring mood/anxiety disorders
- Excellent empathy and neurodiverse-affirming skills
- Experience supervising trainees and/or other clinicians
- Commitment to culturally competent, neurodiverse-affirming, and evidence-based care
- Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and ethical practice
- Ability to practice independently and provide documentation in a timely manner
- Provide high-level supervision to trainees
Preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish and English; candidates with Spanish language skills will receive special consideration

Kimel Psychological Services is a woman and minority owned small group psychology practice located in Denver, Colorado. The practice was founded by Dr. Lila Kimel in 2013.
We are committed to providing high-quality, empirically validated, and culturally-sensitive evaluations and psychotherapy services. We provide evaluations in the areas of cognitive, academic, attention/ executive, and social-emotional functioning for infants to young adults.
We specialize in the assessment of developmental disabilities, particularly autism spectrum disorders throughout the lifespan.
We have a team of well-rounded licensed clinical psychologists and doctoral-student therapists.
