Job Description

Licensed Veterinary Technician, Internal Medicine Are you a skilled, passionate Veterinary Technician looking to elevate your career in a dynamic and supportive environment? Licensed Veterinary Technician (Internal Medicine) – CVT/RVT/LVT | $29- 33/hr + $5,000 Sign-On BonusLocation: Short Pump, VAFull-Time | 4x10's | Tuesday- Friday 7am- 5pm$29- 33/hr + $5,000 sign-on bonusPay & Benefits for Licensed Veterinary Technicians
  • $29- 33/hour & up (based on experience and skills)

Schedule
  • Tuesday- Friday
  • 7am- 5pm
  • One on- call weekend per month is required for ultrasounds & endoscopy procedures
Licensed Veterinary Technician Responsibilities
  • Credentialed veterinary technician with strong technical skills (to include placing IV catheters, venipuncture, administering premedication, anesthesia induction & monitoring, patient preparation, surgical nursing, and perioperative nursing care, radiographs, etc.)   
  • You can easily adapt to the different needs of each patient and are able to remain composed during stressful and emotional situations.   
  • You are looking for a career and are passionate about learning and growing in the industry and caring for animals.   
Qualifications
  • Certified, Registered, or Licensed Veterinary Technician (CVT/RVT/LVT)
  • Emergency specialty experience required 
  • Strong technical and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced veterinary environment
