Job Summary
Join the lifeguard team at one of the most exciting waterparks in Wisconsin Dells — The Waterpark Capital of the World. This is a full‑time, year‑round position, not seasonal. Lifeguards supervise guests, enforce waterpark rules, prevent accidents, and maintain a clean and safe environment. Professionalism, alertness, and strong swimming skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise guests in all pool and waterpark areas
- Enforce all waterpark rules and safety regulations
- Watch for hazardous situations and respond quickly
- Promote a fun, safe, and relaxing atmosphere
- Assist guests and team members as needed
- Maintain pool and deck areas, including hosing down surfaces
- Remove debris from pools and decks
- Keep tubes stacked neatly and manage tube usage
- Keep pool furniture and umbrellas clean and organized
- Maintain towel supplies for guests
- Carry soiled towels to laundry and restock clean towels
- Ensure all safety and cleaning equipment is stored properly
- Perform other duties as assigned
Schedule
Work schedules vary and may include:
- Evenings
- Weekends
- Holidays
- Any day Monday–Sunday
Requirements
- Strong swimming ability; must be able to swim the length of a pool
- Ability to complete swim test and Red Cross Lifeguard Training (provided)
- Ability to frequently swim, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and bend
- Ability to communicate, read, write, and speak English effectively
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Friendly, courteous, energetic, and guest‑focused
- Punctual with excellent time‑management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and remain calm
- Physically fit, assertive, and a strong team player
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs occasionally; frequently move up to 10 lbs
- Ability to work in moderate noise environments
- Flexibility to work all shifts, weekends, and holidays
Performance Expectations
Dependability:Arrive on time and maintain regular attendance.
Job Performance:Complete duties quickly, efficiently, and safely.
Conduct:Follow all worksite rules and regulations. Violations may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination.
