Job Description
In this role, you will maintain the safe and efficient operation of the ski lift system at Pajarito Mountain. Bring your snow sport enthusiasm to the slopes and help Give People the Freedom to Ski.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist skiers and snowboarders in safely loading and unloading ski lifts.
- Monitor and operate ski lift controls, ensuring smooth start and stop operations.
- Conduct regular safety inspections of lift equipment and report any issues to management promptly.
- Maintain lift ramps and clear snow as needed to ensure smooth traffic flow.
- Ensure the work station is in compliance with OSHA, ANSI, and USFS regulations and requirements.
- Scan lift tickets or passes of riders to verify their access to the lift and direct guests when their passes are scanned invalid.
- Provide outstanding guest service, answering any questions and resolving issues promptly.
