What You'll Do
As a Lighting Design Consultant, you'll guide homeowners from their first consultation through project approval. Every day is different. Some days you'll be meeting homeowners in beautiful neighborhoods throughout the Valley. Other days you'll be following up with warm leads, creating proposals, attending community events, or generating your own opportunities through neighborhood canvassing.
Your responsibilities include:
- Conduct in-home and virtual lighting consultations
- Design customized lighting solutions for each property
- Prepare accurate proposals using company software
- Build trust through education—not pressure
- Follow up consistently to maximize conversions
- Manage your sales pipeline within our CRM
- Coordinate smoothly with our Operations team for project handoff
- Represent Leading Edge at trade shows and community events
- Generate new opportunities through neighborhood outreach when appropriate
- Continuously improve your product knowledge and sales skills
What Success Looks Like
Within your first 90 days, you'll be expected to:
- Master our products and sales process
- Independently run homeowner consultations
- Deliver accurate proposals
- Build a healthy sales pipeline
- Close your first projects
- Become confident presenting financing options
- Represent the Leading Edge brand professionally in every customer interaction
