Now Hiring: Line Cook

The beautiful Shangri-La Resort + Golf Club, located at the tip of Monkey Island in the center of northeast Oklahoma's Grand Lake O' the Cherokees, is currently accepting applications for a Line Cook to join our team. If you're looking for a great way to earn income, gain hands-on experience, and work in a fun and fast-paced environment, we have the perfect opportunity for you in our kitchen.

What You'll Do

As a Line Cook, you will:

Prepare and cook a variety of menu items with consistency and quality
Follow standardized recipes and proper cooking techniques
Assist with basic butchery, stock, and sauce preparation
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation
Ensure all food is properly stored, labeled, and dated
Communicate effectively with the Sous Chef and kitchen team
Help ensure the kitchen is fully prepped and ready for service
Uphold all food safety and sanitation standards

What We're Looking For

2+ years of cooking experience (or equivalent training)
Strong knowledge of kitchen equipment, food safety, and cooking methods
Basic understanding of butchery, stocks, and sauces
Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude
Strong communication and organizational skills
Must be 18 years of age or older
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
