Job Description
Location: Kansas City, KS
Position Summary
PBI Gordon is seeking an experienced line worker to prepare orders by processing requests and supplying orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in the delivery area and operating special equipment such as forklifts.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Have proven ability to operate plant forklifts and pass required refresher training.
- Provide labor required to load/unload trucks of materials
- Ability to operate handheld RF unit to move physical inventory to D365 inventory locations
- Count and manage physical inventory of raw materials and production components
- Keep up with supply and demand needs of production lines (bring materials from warehouse to staging area to prevent down time of production lines
- Keep up with demands to ensure that trucks are loaded and unloaded in a timely manner
- Keep warehouse and staging areas neat and orderly
- Help on Filling Lines when needed or as time permits
- Must be able to take oral and written instructions and become familiar with all aspects of the working environment.
- Ability to assist in Manufacturer & Packaging Areas as designated by the site leadership
- Disposes of hazardous waste in appropriate containers as instructed by production supervision.
- All other duties as may be assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to drive forklift
- Work within a team environment
- At times work isolated
- Be able to carry 55 lbs. packages up to 6 feet.
- Take directions from the site supervisory leadership
- Flexibility to work in different areas as determined by the site leadership
- Comply to standards communicated by department Supervisor and site leadership
- Training: Must complete initial HAZ COM and HAZ MAT training.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school education preferred
