In this role, you will work closely with experienced litigators on a wide range of commercial and corporate disputes. Our team handles matters involving sophisticated business conflicts, and associates are given meaningful responsibility early, including involvement in strategy, drafting, discovery, and court-facing work.This is an excellent opportunity for an associate who enjoys hands-on litigation work and wants to continue developing courtroom skills while working in a collaborative environment.Responsibilities

• Assist with all phases of complex commercial litigation matters
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other written submissions for state and federal courts
• Manage discovery, including document review, production, and e-discovery coordination
• Conduct legal research and prepare analytical memoranda
• Participate in deposition preparation and potentially attend depositions or hearings
• Work closely with partners and clients to develop litigation strategy
• Maintain organized case management and deadlines across multiple matters

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of litigation experience, ideally involving commercial or corporate disputes
• Experience drafting pleadings, motions, and other substantive litigation documents
• Familiarity with discovery practice and e-discovery processes
• Strong research, analytical, and legal writing skills
• Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail

Requirements

• Active admission to the Massachusetts or Rhode Island bar (or ability to waive in)
• Prior experience working in a law firm or comparable litigation environment
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities in an active litigation practice
