- Handle all stages of litigation, from case initiation through resolution, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, hearings, and settlement negotiations
- Manage foreclosure proceedings and ensure compliance with state-specific legal requirements
- Draft, review, and file litigation documents with precision and within strict deadlines
- Collaborate with clients, title companies, co-counsel, and opposing counsel
- Supervise support staff and coordinate with other departments (closings, title, funding) to ensure seamless legal service
- Monitor case timelines, track deadlines, and prioritize active matters effectively
- Advise clients on foreclosure strategy, legal risk, and resolution pathways
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice in New Jersey (required)
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in foreclosure, real estate litigation, or creditors' rights
- Proven ability to manage a high-volume caseload and meet time-sensitive deadlines
- Excellent legal writing, research, and courtroom advocacy skills
- Familiarity with foreclosure and litigation software systems, including:
- Provantage
- CaseMax
- LexisNexis
