Litigation Attorney (Insurance Defense)

Job Title: Litigation Attorney – Insurance DefenseSalary: $150-160KLocation: Costa Mesa, CaWe are seeking an experienced and motivated Litigation Attorney with a strong background in insurance defense to join our growing legal team. In this role, you will manage a diverse caseload involving general liability, premises liability, auto, product liability, and other civil defense matters. • Independently manage a caseload of insurance defense matters from inception through trial.
• Conduct all phases of litigation, including initial case assessment, discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation.
• Draft pleadings, discovery responses, motions, and other legal documents.
• Represent clients in court hearings, arbitrations, and mediations.
• Develop litigation strategies and provide legal analysis and updates to insurance carriers and clients.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and demonstrate exceptional client service and communication.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in insurance defense litigation.
• Strong knowledge of California civil litigation procedures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines.
• Able to work efficiently in a deadline-driven environment.
• Licensed to practice law in the state of California and in good standing.
• A team player with the ability to work independently when needed.
