Job Description
The Litigation Legal Administrative Assistant will provide comprehensive administrative support to attorneys in a fast-paced Big Law environment. This role requires exceptional organizational skills and a proactive approach to managing litigation-related tasks and deadlines.Client DetailsThis global law firm is headquartered in Washington, D.C. and has over 1,400 lawyers across 10+ offices. They are well renowned for their expertise at the intersection of law, policy, and regulation. This role is based in LA and is 4 days a week in their office in Century City.DescriptionPrepare, format, and edit legal documents, including pleadings, briefs, and correspondence.Maintain and organize case files, ensuring all records are accurate and up to date.Coordinate and manage attorney calendars, including scheduling meetings, court appearances, and deadlines.Act as a liaison between attorneys, clients, and external parties, ensuring smooth communication and follow-ups.Assist in filing legal documents with courts and administrative bodies in compliance with relevant procedures.Handle administrative tasks such as expense reports, travel arrangements, and time entry for attorneys.Support attorneys with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and managing logistics.Provide general administrative support as needed to ensure efficient workflow within the team.ProfileA successful Litigation Legal Administrative Assistant should have:Strong knowledge of legal terminology, court procedures, and litigation processes.2+ years of litigation experience within a law firm.Experience with e-filing.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal-specific software.Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities effectively.Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all administrative tasks.Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with attorneys, clients, and external parties.A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.Job OfferCompetitive annual salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000 USD.Comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance.Opportunities to work in a collaborative and supportive legal environment.Paid time off, holidays, and additional leave policies.Access to professional development resources and training programs.If you are looking for a permanent opportunity in Los Angeles with excellent benefits and a chance to grow your career, we encourage you to apply today!MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
