Job Description
We are actively hiring for a reputable law firm that requires a seasoned professional to provide comprehensive support to their legal team. This role is crucial in assisting attorneys and paralegals with strategic administrative tasks and ensuring a seamless communication experience for clients.
Primary Duties: - Coordinate and manage calendars, arrange meetings, and handle direct client interactions. - Draft, revise, and finalize various legal documents, including correspondence and court submissions. - File legal documents electronically with both local and federal court systems. - Monitor deadlines diligently and manage case progress to meet filing requirements. - Organize client records, documents, and communications efficiently using the firm’s systems. - Handle administrative tasks such as processing reimbursements and entering time records. - Provide cross-departmental support to attorneys in different legal fields when necessary.
Success Factors: - Experience in legal support with a forte in litigation procedures. - Knowledgeable about court systems and fluent in legal terminology. - Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral. - Acute attention to detail and adept in managing sensitive information. - Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with fluctuating priorities. - Proficient in Microsoft Office, with bonus points for experience in legal software like iManage, Kofax/Nuance, InTapp, or LMS+. - Skilled in transcribing dictation and proficient in handling legal correspondence.
Qualifications: - A minimum of three years in a litigation support role. - Educational background in legal studies or similar areas is advantageous.
