Job Description

We’re recruiting on behalf of a respected law firm seeking a Litigation Legal Assistant to support its Stuart office. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and values precision, professionalism, and outstanding client service.

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive administrative support to litigation attorneys and paralegals
Draft, proofread, and electronically file pleadings, motions, and correspondence
Manage attorney calendars, deadlines, and client communications with accuracy and urgency
Serve as a professional liaison with clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel
Maintain organized case files, process expenses, and assist with transcription and dictation
Anticipate attorney needs and help ensure case deadlines are met

Qualifications

Hands-on experience supporting litigation in a law firm or legal office
Strong knowledge of pleadings, filings, and court procedures
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with iManage, Kofax/Nuance, or similar software a plus
Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality

Preferred

Coursework or formal training in legal studies
Familiarity with litigation software and e-filing systems
