Job Description
We are a professional staffing firm, working with organizations across the country to place exceptional candidates. Currently, we have a Litigation Legal Assistant position available with a national Law Firm for their office in Naples, FL. The Litigation Legal Assistant is responsible for the specific duties listed below. Your specific duties will include: Support attorneys with case management, document production, and legal document editing, proofreading, and finalization in Microsoft Word. Electronically file documents in state, federal, and appellate courts. Maintain attorney calendars, schedule meetings, and assist with time entry and expense reports. Manage electronic case files, upload documents, and generate reports. Organize paper and electronic files for depositions, hearings, and trials. Required qualifications for the position include: 3–5 years of legal experience (commercial litigation preferred). Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, iManage, Legal Tracker, and document management systems Excellent organizational, communication, and client service skills. Strong attention to detail with excellent grammar and spelling. Team-oriented with a strong work ethic. Preferred qualifications for the position include: 3-5 years of Litigation experience. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location.
