Job Description
A well-established boutique law firm in the Galleria area of Atlanta is seeking an experienced Plaintiff Litigation Paralegal to join its growing team. This is a hands-on role supporting attorneys through every stage of litigation, with a strong emphasis on preparing cases for trial.
Responsibilities include:
- Drafting, preparing, and electronically filing pleadings, motions, discovery, subpoenas, and other litigation documents in state and federal courts
- Managing cases from intake through trial, including maintaining deadlines, coordinating discovery, and organizing case files
- Preparing trial notebooks, exhibits, witness and expert files, and other materials needed for hearings, mediations, and trial
- Coordinating with clients, medical providers, experts, opposing counsel, and court personnel throughout the litigation process
- Reviewing medical records, organizing evidence, and assisting attorneys with case strategy and trial preparation
- Maintaining both electronic and physical case files to ensure matters are organized and trial-ready
The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of plaintiff litigation experience, with the ability to independently handle litigation filings and actively assist in preparing cases for trial. Experience in personal injury, wrongful death, products liability, or other plaintiff civil litigation is strongly preferred. Candidates should have a solid understanding of litigation procedures, court rules, e-filing, and case management systems.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected boutique law firm with a collaborative culture while avoiding the downtown commute. The firm is open to both direct hire and contract-to-hire arrangements. Permanent employees receive a competitive benefits package, including firm-paid health insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and paid holidays.
