Job Description

Personal Injury / Litigation Paralegal for a Personal Injury Firm Tampa, FL – Permanent Hire ARC Group is currently seeking a Litigation Paralegal for an established Personal Injury Firm in Tampa, FL. This firm is growing and looking for someone with personal injury litigation to join its team. They offer a competitive salary, excellent benefits, and values a work/life balance. This opportunity requires you to have extensive personal injury litigation experience.

Preparing files for mediation, including a medical billing spreadsheet, tasking the assistant to order updated billing and records
Acting as a liaison among all parties including a court or other neutrals for scheduling and sharing information
Organizing and managing documents, including the creation of spreadsheets and retrieval systems
Coordinating the collection, review, and production of documents and responding to discovery requests
Assisting with trial preparation including the assembly of exhibits, witness binders, and appendices for depositions and court filings
Summarizing deposition and trial transcripts and exhibits
Must be able to schedule depositions, mediation, court deadlines, manage clients, etc.
Monitoring compliance with court-imposed deadlines, especially witness and expert witness lists. Preparing those lists and serving complaints
Preparing and serving proposals for settlement

Qualifications needed for the Paralegal role:

Must have at least 3 years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal
3 years personal injury experience including knowledge of personal injury litigation
Experience with trial preparation, trial execution, and post-trial work
Knowledge of E-Filing
Must be proficient with Microsoft Word & Microsoft Outlook
Must be familiar with the state and federal filing systems.
