Job Description
Senior Litigation Paralegal (FLSA / Wage & Hour) We are seeking an experienced Senior Litigation Paralegal with at least 5 years of substantive paralegal experience supporting complex litigation from start to finish. This role is not suited for candidates whose experience is primarily intake?focused. The ideal candidate is fully comfortable with the entire litigation lifecycle, with deep experience in discovery and motion practice.Our practice focuses on FLSA and wage?and?hour litigation, which is discovery?intensive and largely litigated in federal courts nationwide. Responsibilities include:
- Supporting all phases of litigation: pleadings, discovery, motions, settlement, and trial preparation
- Taking a lead role in discovery, including drafting and responding to discovery, managing document production/ESI, subpoenas, and discovery deadlines
- Assisting with motion practice and preparing filings and exhibits
- Researching and applying the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, as well as local and judge?specific rules across multiple jurisdictions
- E?filing in federal courts nationwide (CM/ECF)
- Supporting settlement and mediation efforts
- Minimum 5 years of hands?on litigation paralegal experience (substantive, not intake-based)
- Strong command of the full litigation lifecycle
- Extensive discovery experience
- Experience working in federal courts, including multi?jurisdiction cases
- Highly organized, detail?oriented, and able to work independently
- FLSA / wage?and?hour experience
- Motion?heavy litigation background
- Experience with large?scale document discovery and eDiscovery platforms
