Job Description
Litigation Paralegal (Plaintiff Side)(100% Onsite)Were partnering with a small, plaintiff-focused litigation firm in Houston seeking a Paralegal who can step in and manage an active docket with minimal oversight. This is a hands-on role for someone who is highly organized, proactive, and comfortable keeping multiple cases moving forward at once. Ideal for someone who doesn't want to work DT!Responsibilities
- Manage cases from intake through resolution
- Track and stay ahead of all deadlines across a high-volume caseload
- Draft and respond to discovery: - Interrogatories - Requests for Production - Requests for Admission
- Maintain organized case files and documentation
- Coordinate with clients, experts, and third parties
- Follow up consistently with attorneys and outside contacts
- Assist with trial preparation as needed
- Minimum 3yrs as a Paralegal with litigation experience
- Experience with the discovery process is required
- Prior litigation experience (plaintiff-side preferred)
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines without things slipping
- Strong follow-up skills you take initiative and dont wait on responses
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, and Google Docs
- Must live within a reasonable commute to the Houston office
- Salary around $75K, depending on experience
- Paid overtime when needed
