Job Description
Nationally and regionally respected civil litigation firm with deep expertise in insurance and business-related legal defense is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys in complex civil litigation matters. Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive paralegal support in complex civil litigation, including insurance defense, commercial litigation, professional liability, and mass tort matters Draft, review, and manage pleadings, discovery requests and responses, subpoenas, and correspondence Coordinate and manage document production, including e-discovery platforms and document review Assist with trial preparation, including exhibit preparation, witness files, trial binders, and courtroom support Maintain case calendars and ensure compliance with court rules, deadlines, and filing requirements File documents in state and federal courts (including e-filing) Conduct legal and factual research as needed Communicate professionally with clients, court personnel, opposing counsel, and experts Assist attorneys with depositions, mediations, and arbitrations Support appellate matters, including record preparation and briefing assistance, when applicable Requirements: Minimum of 5+ years recent law firm litigation paralegal experience, with State court and Federal litigation experience. Trial experience is preferred. Four-year Bachelor's degree and/or two-year ABA approved Paralegal certificate ideal but not required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite to include PowerPoint, Excel and Adobe Pro.
