Job Description
A general practice firm in the northeast Atlanta metro area is seeking a Paralegal with approximately 2+ years of litigation experience to support a partner within a specialized civil litigation practice focused on sex trafficking-related matters.
Responsibilities
- Support civil litigation matters from intake through resolution
- Draft and prepare routine pleadings, discovery, and correspondence
- File documents in state and federal courts (electronic filing systems required)
- Manage case calendars, deadlines, and docketing
- Organize and maintain case files, medical records, and discovery materials
- Assist with deposition, mediation, and trial preparation
- Communicate with clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel as needed
Qualifications
- 2-5 years of litigation paralegal experience (personal injury preferred)
- Experience with state and federal court e-filing systems required
- Strong understanding of litigation procedures and deadlines
- Excellent organization, attention to detail, and communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive subject matter with professionalism and discretion
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, partner-led environment
