Job Description
Everstaff is searching for a Litigation Paralegal for a well-established law firm in Columbus, OH. This position offers the opportunity to support attorneys throughout all phases of litigation while working on complex, high-profile cases in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and committed to providing exceptional client service while managing multiple cases from inception through trial.

Salary: $65,000–$75,000
Schedule: M-F, 8am-5pm

Responsibilities
- Manage assigned litigation matters from case intake through trial preparation and resolution.
- Organize, maintain, and update electronic and physical case files.
- Track litigation deadlines, court dates, and attorney calendars.
- Coordinate depositions, mediations, hearings, expert witness meetings, and trial schedules.
- Draft pleadings, subpoenas, discovery requests and responses, legal correspondence, and other litigation documents.
- Assist with all phases of discovery, including document collection, review, organization, and production.
- Obtain, organize, review, and summarize medical records, billing records, and other case-related documentation.
- Prepare chronologies, case summaries, damages summaries, trial notebooks, and exhibits.
- Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, expert witnesses, medical providers, courts, and third-party vendors.
- Prepare electronic filings for state and federal courts.
- Assist attorneys with trial preparation, witness coordination, and courtroom logistics.
- Provide outstanding client service while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism throughout the litigation process.
Qualifications
- Minimum of two years of litigation paralegal experience.
- Experience supporting attorneys through all phases of civil litigation.
- Strong knowledge of litigation procedures, discovery, and trial preparation.
- Experience drafting legal documents and managing litigation deadlines.
- Familiarity with electronic filing procedures in state and/or federal courts.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a legal team.
- High attention to detail, sound judgment, and professionalism.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software.
