Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal for our client in Hackensack. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive support to attorneys across all phases of the litigation process and must be highly organized, detail?oriented, and able to work independently in a fast?paced environment. Position Information: Salary: $80,000+ Hybrid – 2 days a week remote Direct Hire Opportunity Key Responsibilities Assist attorneys with all aspects of active litigation matters, including case management and workflow coordination. Organize, maintain, and update court materials, case files, and litigation binders. Draft, proofread, and file pleadings, motions, and other court documents in both state and federal courts. Prepare correspondence, memoranda, discovery requests/responses, and other legal communications with minimal supervision. Manage docketing, track deadlines, and ensure timely filings and submissions. Digest depositions, summarize transcripts, and assist with deposition preparation. Coordinate all aspects of deposition, hearing, motion, and trial preparation. Electronic Discovery (eDiscovery) Responsibilities Assist with paper and electronic discovery, including collection, review, and production. Identify potentially relevant ESI (electronically stored information) and coordinate with clients to preserve and collect data. Draft and issue legal hold notices and track compliance. Assist with processing, reviewing, and coding ESI using litigation support platforms. Technical & Filing Requirements Proficient in electronic filing systems, including CM/ECF and New Jersey e?filing. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience with Relativity and Concordance required; familiarity with iManage is a plus. Qualifications Minimum 3 years of litigation paralegal experience in a law firm setting. Bachelor’s degree and/or Paralegal Certificate required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines.
