Litigation Paralegal - Consumer Protection & Complex Civil Litigation

Palm Beach Gardens, FLMonday-Friday | 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM ETSalary: $70,000 - $75,000

SNI Companies is recruiting on behalf of a well-established legal organization seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support a busy practice focused on consumer advocacy, complex civil disputes, and representative litigation matters.

This opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented legal professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys managing cases from initial intake through resolution. The successful candidate will play an integral role in case development, discovery, litigation support, and trial preparation while working closely with attorneys, clients, and outside parties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee assigned cases throughout all phases of litigation, from early case assessment through settlement or trial.
  • Support attorneys with investigations involving consumer rights, deceptive business practices, financial services disputes, and other complex civil matters.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing updates and coordinating the collection of records and supporting documentation.
  • Conduct client intake interviews and assist with evaluating potential claims.
  • Maintain organized electronic files and case records within the firm's legal management systems.
  • Track court deadlines, discovery schedules, hearings, mediations, and other critical dates.
  • Prepare litigation-related documents, including correspondence, pleadings, discovery requests and responses, subpoenas, notices, and supporting materials.
  • Coordinate state and federal court filings.
  • Manage discovery processes, including document collection, review, organization, and production.
  • Analyze and summarize records, evidence, and case-related documentation.
  • Assist with deposition preparation, exhibit organization, and witness materials.
  • Support mediation, hearing, arbitration, and trial preparation efforts.
  • Create and maintain case files, exhibit binders, hearing materials, and attorney notebooks.
  • Communicate with courts, opposing counsel, experts, vendors, and other stakeholders.
  • Monitor case progress and proactively follow up on outstanding action items.
  • Prepare timelines, summaries, and case-support materials for attorneys.
  • Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Provide administrative and project support as needed across the litigation team.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience as a Paralegal supporting civil litigation matters.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple active cases simultaneously.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
  • Comfortable managing competing priorities in a high-volume legal setting.
  • Proficiency with legal technology, document management systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong client-service mindset and professional demeanor.

Preferred Experience

  • Paralegal Certificate or a combination of relevant education and legal experience.
  • Experience with complex litigation, consumer protection matters, financial services disputes, business litigation, or large-scale plaintiff-side litigation.
  • Familiarity with federal court procedures and electronic filing platforms.
  • Experience managing substantial document collections and discovery productions.
  • Background supporting attorneys through depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial preparation.
