HumanHire is partnered with an Am Law top 200 Firm to find a Litigation Paralegal to support the firms Mass Torts Defense group remotely. The Litigation Paralegal will provide comprehensive support to attorneys handling complex toxic tort, asbestos, environmental, product liability, and other mass tort defense matters. Candidates must have experience with either California or New York Litigation matters.We Offer:

Pay: $100-145K Base Salary plus OT and Bonus*

Responsibilities:

Support attorneys in all phases of toxic tort and complex litigation matters from initial case intake through trial and appeal.*
Maintain and organize electronic and physical case files, ensuring accuracy and compliance with court deadlines.*
Draft, revise, and file pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, subpoenas, notices, and correspondence.*
Coordinate and manage all aspects of written discovery, including document collection, production, and privilege review.*
Review, summarize, and analyze medical records, employment records, deposition transcripts, expert reports, and other case-related documents.*
Prepare chronologies, exposure summaries, witness files, and case evaluations for attorney review.*
Coordinate depositions, independent medical examinations, inspections, expert witness schedules, and court appearances.

Qualifications:

Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred; Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program is preferred.*
Minimum of 3 years of litigation paralegal experience, with experience supporting toxic tort, asbestos, environmental, product liability, mass tort, or complex civil litigation defense strongly preferred.
