Job Details

A well-established civil defense litigation firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join their team in a fully remote role. This position supports attorneys handling personal injury and construction defect defense matters in California and offers the opportunity to work closely with attorneys on complex litigation cases from inception through resolution.

This is a true litigation paralegal position, ideal for someone who enjoys being actively involved in case management, discovery, and trial preparation.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Supporting attorneys on personal injury and construction defect defense cases
• Managing litigation files from inception through trial
• Preparing and filing pleadings in California state courts and federal courts
• Assisting with discovery, document production, and deposition preparation
• Coordinating experts and preparing case summaries
• Maintaining case calendars and ensuring compliance with court deadlines

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years of litigation paralegal experience; Certificate preferred
• Experience supporting civil defense litigation matters
• Strong experience with California state court procedures
• Experience with complex litigation and federal court filings
• Background supporting civil defense matters (PI or construction defect preferred)
• Ability to manage multiple active litigation matters
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
