Job DetailsWe are seeking a highly experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in defense litigation support within a law firm environment. This role requires excellent organizational, research, and drafting skills, as well as the ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced setting.Responsibilities:

• Perform administrative duties (calendar hearings and deadlines, manage logistics etc)
• Aid attorneys and provide assistance where needed
• Gather relevant information from a variety of sources

Skills:

• Experience with Discovery, managing cases, and correspondence
• Conducting legal research to find precedents that support a lawyer’s arguments in court
• Assisting with court hearings, trials, mediations and depositions
• Drafting legal documents such as affidavits, motions, subpoenas, settlement agreements, pleadings, discovery requests, and wills
• Highly organized with ability to juggle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong writing and communication skills along with attention to detail
• Extensive computer and database expertise
• Family Law experience a plus
• Paralegal associates degree or other relevant certification
