We are actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Litigation Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, equipped with a high degree of professionalism and superior organizational skills. In this role, you'll be working closely with our attorneys, assisting them in all phases of litigation, from inception through discovery and trial. Your primary focus will be drafting pleadings, conducting legal research, preparing for trial, and managing case files. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on complex litigation matters in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Draft and prepare legal documents such as pleadings, briefs, motions, discovery requests and responses, and other court-related documents.
- Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to support case preparation.
- Assist attorneys in preparing for depositions, mediations, arbitrations, hearings, and trials.
- Organize and manage case files to ensure information is easily accessible.
- Coordinate and manage timelines and deadlines to ensure all are met in a timely manner.
- Liaise with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and experts.
- Review, categorize, and analyze large volumes of documents and data.
- Assist with the organization of exhibits, documents, and physical evidence for use at trial.
- Prepare and maintain trial notebooks and databases.
- Participate in team meetings and strategy sessions.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in law or a related field is required.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a litigation paralegal is a must.
- Proficiency in drafting pleadings and other court-related documents.
- Strong research skills with a high level of understanding of legal concepts and terminologies.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
- Proficiency in using legal research software and other legal databases.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- A paralegal certification is preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience in e-discovery platforms and litigation support technology is a plus.
- High level of professionalism and confidentiality is crucial in this role.
