Our attorneys represent plaintiffs throughout Colorado in both state and federal court, with a practice focused on matters including constitutional rights violations, police misconduct, jail and prison abuse, employment discrimination, retaliation, wrongful termination, and related civil claims.

Job Details

Manage and support an active caseload of civil litigation matters from initial case development through resolution or trialDraft, prepare, proofread, and organize pleadings, correspondence, subpoenas, discovery requests and responses, and other litigation documentsCoordinate all phases of written discovery and document productionCollect, organize, summarize, and maintain medical records, employment records, investigative materials, and other case-related documentationAssist attorneys with deposition preparation, including exhibits, document organization, witness coordination, and case materialsPrepare cases for hearings, mediation, depositions, and trialHandle state and federal court filings and monitor applicable deadlinesMaintain case calendars, litigation deadlines, and attorney schedulesCommunicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, courts, experts, witnesses, and other outside partiesAssist with factual investigation and organization of evidenceIndependently keep cases moving while identifying upcoming deadlines and attorney needsSupport multiple attorneys and effectively prioritize competing matters5+ years of litigation paralegal experience preferred, with consideration for candidates from civil litigation, personal injury, employment, civil rights, or other litigation-heavy practicesStrong understanding of the litigation lifecycle, discovery, court filings, and trial preparationExcellent written communication, organization, attention to detail, and client-service skills
