Our client is a premiere law firm in South Florida that handles complex litigation matters. As a Litigation Paralegal, you will play a critical role in supporting their attorneys through all phases of litigation. This position involves managing case files, conducting legal research, drafting and reviewing pleadings, coordinating discovery, and ensuring deadlines are met.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

• • Assist attorneys throughout all stages of litigation, from case inception through trial and post-trial.
• • Draft and review legal documents such as pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses.
• • Manage discovery, organize case files, and maintain litigation calendars.
• • Conduct legal research and summarize findings for attorney review.
• • Prepare trial binders, exhibits, and coordinate witness appearances.
• • Handle e-filing with state and federal courts and maintain compliance with procedural rules.
• • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel professionally.

Requirements:

• • Paralegal certification or equivalent education preferred).
• • Litigation experience (complex commercial litigation experience is a plus.
• • Strong knowledge of litigation processes, court rules, and legal terminology.
• • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal research tools (LexisNexis, Westlaw).
• • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
