Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year

Note: We are seeking candidates with 3+ years of litigation paralegal or legal assistant experience supporting complex matters. Hands-on experience with litigation documents, discovery, court filings, and case management is important for success in this role.

Job Description

  • Draft, review, proofread, and edit briefs, motions, discovery requests, subpoenas, and other litigation documents under attorney supervision.
  • Organize and maintain case files, discovery materials, evidence, and critical deadlines.
  • Obtain, review, organize, and summarize medical records, bills, and other case-related documentation.
  • Coordinate with clients, medical providers, insurance companies, witnesses, experts, and other parties.
  • Handle electronic court filings in state and federal courts using E-Courts, PACER, and related systems.
  • Support attorneys with discovery, trial preparation, client communications, and overall case strategy.
  • Prepare settlement packages, trial binders, exhibits, and materials for hearings and trials.
  • Track billable time accurately and assist with invoicing when needed.
  • Manage multiple cases and priorities while maintaining strong follow-up and responsiveness.
  • Provide additional litigation support and work occasional overtime when deadlines or court requirements demand it.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of litigation paralegal or legal assistant experience.
  • Experience supporting complex litigation matters and managing case-related deadlines.
  • Familiarity with discovery, legal document preparation, and state or federal court filings.
  • Strong Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook skills.
  • Excellent organization, time management, proofreading, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities accurately in a fast-paced legal environment.
  • Professional, responsive, and detail-oriented approach to attorneys and clients.
  • Bachelor's degree, paralegal certification, or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • Experience with legal document management, billing, or practice management systems is a plus.
