Job Description
Position: Litigation Practice AssistantExperience Required: 3-5 years in litigation support
Key Responsibilities:
- Court Filing & Procedures: Handle e-filing in Oregon and Washington state/federal courts
- Case Management: Manage files from case initiation through trial/arbitration/mediation
- Scheduling & Coordination: Arrange hearings, depositions, meetings, and related logistics
- Deadline Management: Maintain docket calendars and ensure timely completion of tasks
- Administrative Support: Open new files, conduct conflict checks, coordinate service of pleadings
Required Qualifications:
- 3-5 years litigation experience
- Knowledge of Oregon and Washington court rules and filing procedures
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Excellent proofreading abilities
- Experience with multi-jurisdictional litigation processes
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Self-motivated with focus on professional development
