Job Description
- Personal care and assistance with daily activities
- Mobility support using a wheelchair and assistance with transfers
- Nighttime care, including repositioning and comfort
- Transportation using a wheelchair-accessible van
- Age: 28 years old
- Weight: ~160 lbs
- Condition: Multiple Sclerosis (MS)
- Lower body mobility is limited
- Fully alert and communicates clearly
- Uses a mobile wheelchair during the day (doubles as a sofa/bed)
- Requires twisting and turning / repositioning at night
- Full-time, live-in position
- Preferred location: Bethesda, MD
- Assist with daily personal care and bathroom needs (client communicates when assistance is needed)
- Support mobility using a mobile wheelchair
- Assist with repositioning and comfort during the night
- Drive the client using a wheelchair-accessible van
- Transport client to and from work 3–4 days per week, 4–5 hours per shift
- Ensure the client’s safety, comfort, and well-being
- Monday to Sunday
- Live-in availability required, including overnight care
- Daytime and nighttime support
- Flexible to accommodate changes in client’s daily routine
- Active CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) license required
- CPR certification required
- Experience with MS or mobility-impaired clients preferred
- Physically able to assist with transfers, repositioning, and overnight care
- Valid driver’s license and confident driving a small van
- Patient, dependable, and compassionate
- $160–$180 per day, based on experience
- Room and board included
- Long-term, supportive live-in position
