Live-in Caregiver with Dementia experience needed 

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable live-in caregiver to assist an elderly individual in a private home. The ideal candidate will have prior caregiving experience, a strong work ethic, and a warm, patient demeanor.

Our team at Interim Healthcare Bowie is growing, and we are looking for caregivers like you to provide reliable, compassionate, and skilled services to our clients in their homes. We provide companionship, personal care, meal preparation, assistance with errands and appointments, bathing, medication reminders, transfer assistance, and more. Job Description:

Responsibilities of the CNA role include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing for patient's hygiene, grooming, and comfort needs.
  • Utilizes infection control measures such as hand washing and use of personnel protective equipment.
  • Provide light housekeeping and laundry 
  • Provide shopping service to the client to include grocery 
  • Provide incidental transportation for client which includes visits to doctor appointments, friends, family members, or stores
  • Provide assistance and planning of client's recreational activities and events

Job Requirements

  • Current and active CNA License in the State of Maryland
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must have a Green Card / Work permit
  • Two years of caregiving experience 
  • Social Security card
  • Drivers license
  • Proof of car insurance
  • CPR
  • Annual Physical
  • Recent TB results
  • Reliable means of transportation
  • Willingness to learn
  • Ability to provide physical and emotional support to clients
