About the Role
We’re looking for a confident, charismatic Live Streamer to become the face and personality behind our client live shopping experience on Whatnot.
You don’t need years of professional hosting experience. What matters most is that you’re comfortable on camera, communicate naturally, think quickly, and enjoy engaging with people. If you’re interested in social media, e-commerce, content creation, or live selling, this is an opportunity to develop valuable skills while building a live commerce channel from the ground up.
The Whatnot account is starting from scratch, giving you the opportunity to play a key role in building the audience, community, and overall live shopping experience.
Requirements
What You’ll Do
- Host engaging live streams on Whatnot for 40 hours per week.
- Present products clearly, confidently, and enthusiastically.
- Host live auctions and keep viewers engaged throughout each stream.
- Interact with viewers, answer questions, and create a welcoming community.
- Communicate product features, benefits, and key information effectively.
- Build an entertaining and energetic live shopping experience.
- Learn techniques for increasing engagement and converting viewers into customers.
- Maintain a professional and confident presence on camera.
- Work with the team before and during live streams as needed.
- Review stream performance and continuously improve your hosting and selling skills.
The company will prepare the inventory and products for the live streams, and the equipment needed for the role will be provided.

- Reliable and able to commit to a 40-hour workweek.
- Motivated by both personal development and performance.
Experience That Could Help
Experience as a livestream host, Whatnot seller/host, content creator, social media host, TikTok or Instagram creator, sales representative, retail associate, customer service representative, event host, presenter, influencer, or other on-camera personality can be helpful.
However, professional hosting experience is not required if you have the confidence, personality, and willingness to learn.
Benefits
The total compensation package is annually set within the range of $60,000 to $120,000, determined by the candidate’s professional experience.
