Job Description

Load Operator Dept: Aluminum Paint The position follows standard work instructions and practices safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible. Unloading machined wheels from 083 Machining line while loading appropriate wheels to the 067 paint line. II-Essential Functions within the department: List all or top 5 job functions with this department. Should additional space be needed please include that as an attached document.[Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.] 1 Inspect quality of wheels (Burrs etc.) 2 Understand Kanban Process & Flow 3 Disposition pallets and trays 4 5 List types of Equipment and Hand Tools operated: 1 Power switch to pretreatment line 2 Various hand tools for 5s 3 Trouble shoot pretreatment process and advise III- Other than the general PPE (bump cap, safety glasses, steel toe shoes, and hearing protection), list any other safety equipment required to be worn with this position. IV. General Education Required: Consider reading, writing, and math and how the skills are used and how often. High School Diploma or GED. V. Experience: Minimum length of time usually required to attain quality and performance standards under normal supervision. Any previous experience required for this job? 4 weeks, no previous experience VI. Aptitudes: State the specific capacities and abilities required of an individual in order to learn or perform adequately at this task or job duty. Consider: motor coordination, finger dexterity eye-hand-foot coordination and color discrimination.Distinguish part types, detect defects in paint and metal, hand and eye coordination.
