Job Description
Looking to start immediately, an experienced loader operator.
Job Summary
The Loader Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently operating various front-end loaders (wheel loader) in a sand and gravel pit environment. This role supports daily production by loading trucks with finished materials, feeding hoppers for the crusher plant, tracking load tickets, performing routine equipment inspections and maintenance, and assisting with crushing plant operations as needed. The position requires strong safety awareness, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team in an outdoor, industrial setting.
Key Responsibilities
Pay is DOE
- Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time often on wet, slick, and/or uneven terrain or surfaces.
- Must be capable of lifting, carrying, and/or toting up to 50 Lbs.
- Must be able to bend/stoop, squat/crouch, push/pull, climb, kneel, and twist.
- Must be able work both inside and outside, in the heat and cold, and around moving equipment.
- Must be able to climb in to and out of a dozer and other equipment several times a day.
- Must be able to manipulate all controls safely and accurately by pushing, pulling, squeezing and turning levers, knobs, buttons, and wheels.
