Job Title: Loan Servicing Specialist- Government Guaranteed Lending (GGL)
Preference is for an onsite candidate based in our San Antonio office.
Summary:The Loan Servicing Specialist- GGL supports the Government Guaranteed Lending Operations team by performing post‑origination servicing functions for SBA 7(a) 504 and USDA loans. This role focuses on transactional servicing tasks, portfolio maintenance, loan reporting, and documentation accuracy post-closing.
Wage Type: Hourly (Non-exempt)
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

- Oversee the day-to-day servicing of SBA and USDA guaranteed loans, including payment processing, servicing actions, covenant monitoring, and tickler managment.
- Ensure timely and accurate servicing actions in accordance with SBA SOP and USDA requirements and bank policies.
- Monitor loan performance, identify early warning signs, and escalate risk concerns as
- Maintain accurate loan records, imaging, and servicing
- Maintain SBA loans in LoanPro, including setup QC, data accuracy, amortization schedules, and tickler tracking.
- Perform loan payment application, corrections, payoff quotes, and account reconciliations.
- Process servicing actions as mandated by the SOP, such as deferments, UCC-3, continuations, order site inspections, assumptions, and subordinations.
- Assist with SBA 1502 reporting, investor reporting, and remittance processing.
- Prepare and maintain servicing documentation including financial statements, insurance, and detailed collateral records for submittal to lender for loan reviews.
- Support repurchase and repair package preparation.
- Research and resolve servicing discrepancies or borrower issues.
- Support SBA audits, internal audits, and loan file quality‑control reviews.
- Coordinate with Accounting on GL reconciliations and transaction accuracy.

Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree
Required Knowledge/Skills:
- 3 - 5 years of experience in SBA loan servicing, processing, or operations.
- Understanding of SBA 7(a) and 504 loan programs and related servicing requirements.
- Experience with loan servicing systems; LoanPro experience preferred.
- Strong analytical, reconciliation, and problem‑solving skills.
- Understanding of commercial loan documentation, UCCs, insurance, and collateral tracking.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

- Experience collaborating with credit, compliance, accounting, and operations teams.
- Prior involvement with SBA audits or file reviews.
