Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION Job Title: Loan Servicing Specialist (Entry Level) Agency Servicing Pay Rate: $28/hr W2 Duration: 6 Months (RTH Opportunity) Location: Newark, DE (Hybrid 2 days WFH currently, moving to 3 days onsite) Shift: 9:00 AM 6:00 PM (Flexibility required; busy during month-end & quarter-end) Important Notes:

Entry-level role ideal for Finance graduates
Interview Process: 1 round (30 45 mins, panel of 2, Zoom)

Job Summary: The Loan Servicing Specialist will provide operational and client-facing support for syndicated and bilateral loan structures. This role involves transaction processing, reconciliations, and working closely with internal teams, lenders, and clients to ensure accurate loan servicing and compliance with credit agreements. Key Responsibilities:

Act as first point of contact for client servicing
Process loan transactions including fundings, payments, and repricing
Perform daily reconciliations of cash transactions and ledgers
Calculate and track interest and fee accruals
Interpret credit agreements and legal documentation
Initiate and reconcile fund movements as per client/lender instructions
Monitor and escalate exceptions (principal, interest, fees)
Maintain margin changes and communicate with stakeholders
Support quality control for new deals, restructures, and amendments
Assist with reporting, system testing, and administrative tasks

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Strong client servicing and communication skills (ability to interact with senior stakeholders/C-level)
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
General to intermediate accounting knowledge
Proactive mindset with ability to think outside the box

Preferred Qualifications:

Undergraduate degree (Finance or related field preferred)
Exposure to loan servicing / syndicated loans / legal documentation

Disqualifiers:

Poor communication skills
Lack of motivation or interest in the role
