What You'll DoAs a CDL Delivery Driver, you'll safely transport building materials to customer job sites while delivering an outstanding customer experience.Responsibilities include:

Safely operating Class A or B commercial vehicles and truck-trailer combinations.Loading, securing, transporting, and delivering building materials.Verifying shipment details and ensuring accurate deliveries.Assisting customers with unloading materials safely and efficiently.Protecting products and customer property throughout the delivery process.Maintaining delivery records, mileage logs, DVIRs, and Hours of Service documentation.Performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.Operating forklifts and other material handling equipment as needed.Processing customer returns and completing required documentation.Serving as a trusted representative of Builder's FirstSource at customer locations.

What You'll BringRequired Qualifications

Must be at least 21 years old.Valid driver's license.Valid Class A or Class B CDL.Minimum of 1 year of delivery driving experience.Ability to pass an MVR review.Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card within five (5) days of request.Fewer than five moving violations within the past five years.Basic math and measurement skills.Strong commitment to safety and customer service.

Preferred Qualifications

Two or more years of CDL driving experience.Previous building materials or construction industry experience.

Work Environment & Physical RequirementsThis position involves working in outdoor environments and active job-site conditions.Candidates should be able to:

Frequently lift and carry up to 100 pounds.Occasionally lift up to 200 pounds with assistance.Climb, bend, push, pull, kneel, and perform other physical tasks.Safely enter and exit commercial vehicles throughout the workday.Work in varying weather conditions and environments that may include dust, noise, moving equipment, and temperature changes.
