Job Description

Local CDL A Driver - Flatbed / Boom Truck

Home Daily | Monday–Friday | Lima, NY

A growing concrete products company is hiring experienced Class A CDL Drivers to join their team. Drivers operate newer model boom trucks and tractor-trailers, delivering precast concrete products within approximately a 150-mile radius. Most days consist of one morning delivery and one afternoon delivery, allowing for a predictable schedule and home time every night.

What You'll Do:

  • Deliver precast concrete products using flatbed trucks and boom trucks
  • Chain, strap, and secure oversized loads
  • Offload product primarily using the truck-mounted boom
  • Operate newer trucks equipped with Samsara safety technology
  • Maintain safe and professional customer service standards

Schedule:

  • Monday-Friday
  • Typical hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
  • Occasional Albany routes start around 4:00 AM
  • Home daily

Pay & Benefits:

  • $28-$36 per hour based on experience
  • Full benefits available the 1st of the month after 30 days
  • 7 paid holidays
  • Company-paid NCCER boom certification training
    • Drivers who receive certification agree to remain employed for one year or repay training costs

Requirements:

  • Valid Class A CDL
  • No automatic transmission restriction
  • Flatbed experience required
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Oversize/overweight load experience preferred
  • Boom truck experience preferred
  • NCCER certification a plus (company will train)
  • Clean MVR (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years)
