Job Description
Join Litehouse as a Local Truck Driver!
Hit the road and keep our operations moving-without going far from home. As a Local Truck Driver, you'll play a key role in safely transporting products between locations, ensuring on-time deliveries, and keeping our supply chain running smoothly. If you enjoy driving, take pride in safety, and like hands-on work, this role is for you.
What You Will Do
Safely operate large trucks to transport cargo between designated locations on a set schedule
Perform pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and readiness
Load, unload, and secure cargo, verifying accuracy and proper handling
Manage delivery paperwork and maintain accurate records of shipments
Operate a forklift as needed to support loading and unloading activities
Communicate with dispatch regarding routes, updates, and any issues
Maintain accurate driver logs, including hours worked, deliveries, and rest periods
What You Bring
Associate's or Technical School Degree OR six months to one-year related experience and/or training: OR equivalent combination of education and experience equivalent experience/training
2+ years of experience operating large or heavy trucks
Valid Class A CDL and current DOT medical certification (required)
Forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
Strong knowledge of DOT safety regulations and safe driving practices
Experience with vehicle inspections and basic maintenance
Solid documentation and organizational skills
Ability to problem-solve and adapt to changes on the road
Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset
