Job Description
Lead all field operations for ground-up healthcare and retail construction projects. Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel. Develop and maintain short-term schedules and look-ahead plans. Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to quality standards. Conduct daily jobsite inspections and subcontractor coordination meetings. Review drawings, specifications, and project documents to ensure proper field execution. Coordinate inspections with local authorities, consultants, and project stakeholders. Monitor project progress and proactively address field challenges. Enforce OSHA regulations and company safety standards. Maintain daily reports, project logs, and jobsite documentation. Work closely with Project Managers to achieve project milestones and client expectations. Coordinate project turnover, punch list completion, and closeout activities. Foster strong relationships with clients, design teams, and trade partners.
The Successful Applicant
Experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction. Proven experience leading ground-up or interior healthcare and retail projects. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Experience utilizing Procore, Bluebeam, or similar construction management software preferred. Must live within a 60-mile radius to Augusta, GA.
