Local Travel Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Location: Belen, New Mexico Setting: Skilled Nursing Contract Length: 13 Weeks Start Date: May 11, 2026 End Date: August 3, 2026 Shift: 5:00 PM 5:30 AM Number of Shifts: 3 Shifts Weekly (Thursday Saturday) Guaranteed Hours: 36 Estimated Pay Rate: $15.45 $18.03 per hour Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a 13-week local travel contract assignment in Belen, New Mexico. The CNA will assist nursing staff in providing quality patient care within a skilled nursing setting.

This position requires strong patient care skills, attention to detail, and the ability to support residents with daily living activities while maintaining a safe and comfortable environment. Key Responsibilities Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding Monitor and document patient vital signs and report changes to nursing staff Support patient mobility, repositioning, and transfers safely Maintain clean and organized patient care environments Provide compassionate emotional support and companionship to residents Document patient care activities accurately and timely Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary healthcare teams Follow infection control procedures and facility safety guidelines Ensure patient dignity, privacy, and comfort at all times Requirements Active CNA certification/license required Minimum 1 year of CNA experience preferred Current BLS certification preferred Ability to work overnight shifts and weekend schedules Strong communication and teamwork skills Must comply with facility health and safety requirements Valid government-issued photo identification required COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption may be required
