Job Description

LOCUM – Diagnostic Radiologist ($420/hour)

Hartford, ConnecticutStart: March 21, 2026 | 3–6 Month Assignment with Extension Potential24/7 Diagnostic Coverage | Hybrid Onsite and Remote

365 Healthcare is seeking multiple LOCUM Diagnostic Radiologists to provide 24/7 diagnostic imaging coverage in Hartford, Connecticut. This assignment requires the ability to interpret CT, ultrasound, and MRI around the clock in a high-volume hospital-based environment and offers a competitive hourly rate of $420 per hour, along with lodging and travel coverage, rental car or mileage reimbursement, and malpractice insurance included.

Schedule

  • 24/7 diagnostic coverage

  • No traditional call coverage

  • Two radiologists scheduled per shift

  • Shifts include morning, afternoon, night, and overnight

  • Weekend coverage required

  • Hybrid onsite and remote workflow preferred

Practice Details

  • Hospital-based diagnostic radiology

  • Very busy department with variable daily volumes

  • Trauma Level I facility

  • Full support staff available

  • Patient population includes neonates, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics

  • Rare pediatric cases

  • EMR and dictation systems include Epic, PowerScribe, and PACS

Clinical Responsibilities

  • Interpretation of CT, ultrasound, and MRI studies

  • Continuous diagnostic coverage across all shifts

  • Collaboration with multidisciplinary clinical teams

  • Work within an integrated radiology IT environment

Qualifications

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology

  • Fellowship training in a radiology subspecialty preferred

  • Active Connecticut license or IMLC

  • Proficiency with PACS, PowerScribe, and modern radiology IT platforms

  • DEA registration or eligibility

  • BLS certification

  • Experience in high-volume clinical environments

  • Prior experience with hybrid onsite and remote workflows

  • NPDB self-query within the past month
