LOCUM – Nuclear Medicine Radiologist ($420/hour)

Hartford, ConnecticutStart: March 21, 2026 | 3–6 Month Assignment with Extension PotentialHospital-Based with Hybrid Onsite and Remote Coverage

365 Healthcare is seeking a LOCUM Nuclear Medicine Radiologist to provide coverage at a high-volume hospital-based radiology department in Hartford, Connecticut. This assignment includes a varied weekday and weekend schedule with evening and weekend call responsibilities and offers a competitive hourly rate of $420 per hour, along with lodging and travel coverage, rental car or mileage reimbursement, and malpractice insurance included.

Schedule

  • Monday to Friday: 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM

  • Weekday evening call: Monday to Friday until 8:00 PM

  • Weekend call: Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM

  • Hybrid onsite and remote workflow

  • Weekend and call coverage required

Practice Details

  • Hospital-based nuclear medicine radiology

  • Very busy department with variable daily volumes

  • Trauma Level I facility

  • Full support staff available

  • Patient population includes neonates, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics

  • Rare pediatric cases

  • EMR and dictation systems include Epic, PowerScribe, and PACS

Clinical Responsibilities

  • Nuclear medicine imaging interpretation

  • Participation in evening and weekend call coverage

  • Collaboration with multidisciplinary clinical teams

  • Work within an integrated radiology IT environment

Qualifications

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology

  • Fellowship training in Nuclear Medicine preferred

  • Active Connecticut license or IMLC

  • Proficiency with PACS, PowerScribe, and modern radiology IT platforms

  • DEA registration or eligibility

  • BLS certification

  • Experience in high-volume clinical environments

  • Prior experience with hybrid onsite and remote workflows

  • NPDB self-query within the past month
