Job Description

LOCUM – Emergency Medicine Physician ($196/hour)Dyersville, Iowa Start Date: ASAP Critical Access Hospital | In-House Coverage

365 Healthcare is seeking a LOCUM Emergency Medicine Physician to provide emergency department coverage in Dyersville, Iowa. This opportunity includes in-house coverage with low patient volumes at a critical access hospital and offers a competitive hourly rate of $196/hour, along with lodging and travel coverage, rental car or mileage reimbursement, and malpractice insurance included.

Schedule Minimum 3 shifts per pay period

Shift length: 24-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 AM)(Occasional 12-hour shifts)

In-house call coverage (provider sleep room available)

Weekend coverage as needed

Practice Details Critical Access Hospital setting

Average ED volume: ~4 patients per day

Average inpatient census: ~4 patients (observation, acute, swing bed)

Inpatient responsibilities included

No outreach responsibilities

Number of APPs: 4 (no supervision required)

Nursing support: 2 RNs

Ancillary staff: 1 CNA

ED treatment rooms: 3

Inpatient beds: 20

Medical imaging available

Lab & pharmacy available

EMR: TogetherCare (Epic)

Clinical Responsibilities Emergency department coverage

Inpatient management and rounding

Coordination with nursing and ancillary staff

Qualifications Board Certified ABEM or FP/IM with recent emergency medicine experience

Active Iowa medical license

Clean malpractice history and background

NPDB self-query required at time of presentation
