UCHEALTH IS SEEKING LOCUM NEUROSURGEONS TO COVER THEIR WEEKEND CALL NEED!

Schedule:

  • Call starting Friday (7a) ending Monday (7a)
  • Every weekend needed starting ASAP!

Details:

  • Level 1 trauma
  • Over 100,000 annual ER volume
  • EMR: Epic
  • 12 ORs
  • 6 Neurosurgeons in practice
  • Patient demographic: 17 and above
  • Adult and trauma Neurosurgery cases, tumor removal, brain bleed stoppage, trauma repair, shunt insertion or revision, cranial burr holes, intracranial pressure monitor or insertion of, intracranial hemorrhage, traumatic brain injury, neurocritical conditions, ventricular taps, ventriculoperitoneal shunt/taps/reprogramming, ventriculostomy, diskectomy, laminectomy, spinal fusion, spine stabilization and reconstruction, placement of arterial and venous access, administration of vasoactive or sedating substances, lumbar puncture, placement of lumbar drains, CSF sampling from shunts or external ventricular drains, EEG interpretation, management and interpretation of ICP and CCP data, external ventricular drain management, application and management of hypothermia
BILL RATES NEEDED FOR SUBMISSION
  • Malpractice (must be included in the rates)
  • Orientation
  • 24 Hour Call - Capped at $5,000
  • 24 Hour Holiday Call
  • Call Back- Capped at $575
  • Holiday Call Back
  • Conversion fee ($25k rate cap)
Requirement description :

ALL OF THE FOLLOWING MUST BE NOTED AT THE TIME OF NAME CLEAR IN THE ADDITIONAL SUBMISSION DETAILS TO AVOID BEING REDIRECTED!!

  • Board Certified - REQUIRED, NO BE
  • Active CO license - HIGHLY PREFFERED - MUST BE WILLING TO OBTAIN AT ACCEPTANCE.
  • Active ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), & ATLS - REQUIRED
  • Fellowship - HIGHLY PREFERRED, BUT NOT REQUIRED
  • Must be able to perform Spinal instrumentation- REQUIRED - MUST NOTE AT SUBMISSION
  • Clean malpractice/background - REQUIRED
  • COVID vaccinated- REQUIRED
CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :
  • ACLS
  • BLS
  • ATLS
  • Board Certified
STATE LICENSE REQUIREMENTS :
  • Colorado
ADDITIONAL LICENSE REQUIREMENTS : Weekend Requirements : YesOn Call Requirements : Yes
