Locum - Physician - Radiology - Interventional Bismarck , ND

Be part of a dedicated team committed to excellence in patient care at CHI St. Alexius Health in Bismarck, ND.Responsibilities include performing a wide range of interventional radiology procedures, including vascular interventions, angiography, embolization, biopsies, drainages, and more. The schedule primarily involves an 8-hour day shift from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., with evening call from 4 p.m. to 8 a.m., and 24-hour weekend call coverage. The position offers flexibility for increased rate consideration on specified dates.Required Skills:

• Proven experience in general interventional radiology procedures
• Ability to perform diagnostic vascular interventions, angiography, stenting, embolization, biopsies, drainages, and other IR techniques
• Competency in vascular access and image-guided procedures
• Strong understanding of EMR systems, specifically Epic
• Ability to respond effectively to emergency situations during call hours

Nice to Have Skills:

• Stroke intervention capabilities, such as thrombectomy, are preferable but not mandatory
• Experience with neuro and trauma-related IR procedures
• Familiarity with additional advanced IR techniques and procedures

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Current medical license valid in North Dakota
• Board certification or eligibility in Radiology
• Minimum of 2+ years of IR experience, including general procedures and stroke-related interventions

Other Requirements:

• Ability to obtain and maintain North Dakota licensure
• Enrolment in credentialing processes within 60-90 days
• Willingness to work scheduled shifts and occasional call coverage, including weekends and holidays
• Travel arrangements, including possible air travel, are accepted
• Malpractice coverage included in compensation package
• All necessary certifications and documentation up to date
